It's so hard to pick who's gunna win the IM! They all should be reaillvety close at the first 200, with levering maybe a little behind...here's my breakdown of the 3-1. Beisel- the thing that catches my eye is she is the only one of the 2 not doing the medley relay tonight right before..big difference. Her backstroke and freevare lights out, and the way her first hundred has improved I just don't think she can be stopped. I'm thinking 356-357 for her.2. Hosszu- I hate picking against the defending champ and swimmer of the year, but it's so tough. This is her event, but I think the way beisel has translated her long course ability into short course Tells me it wont be enough for hosszu. She's gunna have to take it out like a monster to hold off leverenz, and I think she does have that capability. Her backstroke has gotten way good, and if she can hang on in the breast than its hers to lose.3. Leverenz- the only reason I'm putting her 3rd is because I think back to the duel in the pool where she handled hosszu In the 200, but then got beat in the 400. The problem I think is 100 yards of free is just too much and she usually gets passed, which beisel and hosszu are freight train closers. But, if she can go a 104-05 in the breast, it's game over for everyone. The problem is I think beisel can whip out a 106, which is bad news for everyone. How much will leverenz be leading by at the 300? 2+ seconds?Gosh it's really impossible to choose! I can't wait to watch!!!
